2FA validation fails after long time
account login and 2FA validation takes very long time, and 2FA validation fails. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling (with wipe) without success.
That happens on the Apple end where they take a long time. Check your account to make sure it isn’t locked and everything is ok. Check another iPhone FindMe app to verify the other phone can locate you.
Logging in at account.apple.com works as usual - no delays. I'm findable by others in the family. When requesting a new verification code, I get the code immediately but the submit button stays busy for at least 10 mins and when I submit the code it stays busy even though in the log it says it was successful (at 23:48:59)
When a new code is requested, the old 'session' files are deleted and the Apple Acct is logged back into. That causes the verification code to be displayed on the iPhone.
I hadn't looked at that code in several years. I made a change to not log into the account again but to just delete the 'session' files and reauthenticate the accout. That appears to display the verification code on the phone and is a lot faster.

Update to the v3.2.2.3 version of iCloud3. It is available on HACS

Unzip the following into the icloud3/apple_acct directory: patch v3.2.2.3-apple_acct.zip

Unzip the following into the icloud3/configure directory: patch v3.2.2.3-configure.zip

Restart HA and Request a verification code. It should be a lot faster.
