View does not resize in Landscape mode

Expected behaviour

Tell us what should happen I expected that the components in the view should resize say when the device is turned to Landscape mode The view say textinput should resize and fit the screen resolution when the device is turned to landscape mode Device tested on: Android Marshmallow

Actual behaviour

Tell us what happens instead The view aligns at one part of the screen thereby dividing the screen into two equal parts

1. Turn the device is landscape mode
