Take back move feature request.
Lichess allows you to “take back” a move during the game if it’s allowed in settings. Pychess lacks this feature.
No. See https://lichess.org/forum/general-chess-discussion/takeback-ettiquette#4
It can be useful in Casual games. Reopened.
Hello all.
After recently having a friend slip up in a casual game on his phone after 20 minutes, leading complete swing. I want to propose that it would be good to have a takeback mechanism - such as that of Lichess - for casual games only.
Much like Lichess I suggest the opponent would have to approve / decline said takeback request. And only a maxium of last 2 moves (1 for black 1 for white) would be possible at any given time.
Would like to know everyones thoughts on this, and if it's possible.
Thank you.
Since this is a fork of chessground shouldn't "take back" already exist? What am I missing?
This hasn't been worked on for 4 years?
If you feel this issue is important for you, feel free to implement it. PR is always welcome.
Lol I think I made this complaint about 4 years ago tbh
