Configure resource to go public automatically on a pre-set date

What feature would like to see being added to the IPT?

The new IPT v2.1.1 has a nice feature: a resource can be configured to publish automatically
on a schedule (e.g., annually, bi-annually, monthly, weekly, or daily). Is it possible
to have another feature: a resource can be configured to go public automatically on
a pre-set date (e.g., 6 months later, one year later) since some publishers may choose
to publish his/her datasets now but delay making them available to the public until
later?

Somewhat related. How can the Next publication date be set aside from the act of publishing? Where is it stored?
