Indexing of Verbatim data and other extensions

It would be useful to query against the data currently visible in the Verbatim view in ChecklistBank. These are additional columns provided in the DwCA core file when a user imports the dataset.

In addition to this, it will be useful to allow for the indexing of new recognised extensions. The following future extensions maybe suitable:

  • Sensitive species rules
  • Conservation status
  • Biosecurity status

Allowing these index fields to be queryable and to support facets would aid the development of third party (e.g. ALA) to write tools on top of ChecklistBank.
