This would be useful, and will be easier to in light of the direction we've decided to take #383.
It appears from [this page](https://eclipse.dev/eclipselink/documentation/4.0/jpa/extensions/jpa-extensions.html#additionalcriteria-2) that EclipseLink has something at least a bit similar to `Filter`s in Hibernate, so perhaps this is a candidate for possible inclusion in JPA 4.
