The OutOfSyncError usually happens if you try to open or do something to a thread that is changed in the current poll or in the maildir (by e.g. offlineimap).

If you fetch your emails using offlineimap this could include local information that offlineimap has added, should it be sent as well or should there be some sanity checks.. obviously...

Yeah, I guess maildir.rb picks up the deleted source and removes the location? Is the message deleted from the Index if there are no more locations left?

Ok, great! I think there should still be a script for the whole expunge-process so that the user can run it as a cron job or something and expunge based...

Maybe it is sufficient to just add this to the wiki?
