Maybe an example of how to connect to a simple cloudmqtt instance would be helpful? I'm scratching my head a bit trying to figure out where to put the api key. Or maybe this is just a special use case?

cloudmqtt is MQTT v1.5.

Not sure if tortoise supports v1.5, the Readme says v3.1.1 (and hopefully v5 in the future?).
