I also am experiencing poor quality on the examples from tandt dataset [[from this repo](https://github.com/graphdeco-inria/gaussian-splatting)].
I am gently following up on the previous comment.
As a researcher with limited GPUs, your comment means more to me than you know.
My issue is still unresolved.
I have the same thought as you. Presumably, this is a data augmentation scheme to improve the quality of a trained network. Since (again, presumably) users are getting good results,...
