Unable to find emails to restore

Open stevese opened this issue 7 years ago • 0 comments

I ran the sync first to grab all emails from one gmail account. I can drill down into the gmvault-db\db directory to see them in folders by year/month. So, I know I have the emails.

Now, when I try to restore to a new gmail account I get a message saying the following....

"Start emails restoration.

Restore emails in gmail account [email protected] Read email info from ~/gmvault-db gmvault-db. Total number of elements to restore 0. Got all emails id left to restore. Still 0 emails to do."

It then looks for chats which I don't care about and finishes saying it didn't do anything with any emails.

Any idea why it is not seeing the emails I have backed up that I am trying to restore?

According to the gmvault restore --help command, I am supposed to use the following:

gmvault restore -d ~/gmvault-db [email protected]

I am using Windows 10 and my gmvault version is v1.9.1

The sync ran fine...no issues. Now if I can just get the emails uploaded to the new email acct.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
