SNID lookup

For Acer devices with the long-form serial number (SN), is it possible to be able to search by the short-form serial number (SNID)? Showing the SNID underneath the SN is a very nice touch, and makes life a little bit easier, but when we're given an SNID by LWT as means of reference we still can't search for it.
