Repository clean-up(branches)

Please delete all old, stalled and unused branches from the repo.

Ideally the master branch should be enough :)

While you're at it - consider renaming master branch to a more inclusive name (main)

I cleaned up most of the old branches.

I was a little concerned that changing master to main would have unintended consequences so held off on this for now.
