What if we make it possible for users to request access to groups?

This would likely open more sharing patterns and help us on building single-use invites by:

• Generating a link that is simply a pointer to a group
• The account requests to join the group
• The admin accepts the request to join if within the timeframe

This could be considered as a safer and more restircted alternative to classic invite, with the requirement that both users has to be online in the procedure.

I think that both users must be online because anything relying on a timestamp could be easily forged and worked around.
