Helium mobile issue
Hello. I can't understand why with helium there is no sticky nav and mobile doesn't show the menu when on mobile. I found this: https://gantry.org/blog/fixed-navigation Isn't better to add it in the NEXT version? Some people are not good as you all... I fixed it using bootstrap menu, but when there will be new version of this theme, I'll need to copy all files to have backup!
@stecco84 That is a very old article. You will lose the changes when you update. Not everyone wants a sticky menu.
Since you want a sticky menu, check out this blog post. You have 2 options from Inspire Theme. I use the Fixed Header particle. https://www.inspiretheme.com/blog/freebies/42-fixed-sticky-header-atoms-for-gantry-5-freebies

1st , thanx, I couldn't find this. 2nd, in the options of some theme there is: yes/no for stiky menu and/or submenu. I think it's better to make the selection when theme is active (as some themes). Thx for the fast reply! fixed ! thx. P.s. As I said, I think will be better to add it in the new version, maybe with yes/no for sticky, so people doesn't need to go to find solution. ;) Thx!
@Stecco84 The Free Helium template has more styling and particles than the Free Hydrogen template, but it is still, in my opinion, more of a bare bones template which can be used to build other templates off of easily. The other templates you speak of that have a sticky menu as an option are paid templates with more bells and whistles.
@Stecco84 Please close this ticket since it is not an issue that needs to be fixed, and while I don't speak for the Gantry 5 team, I can say with a lot of certainty that this is NOT something they will implement in the Helium or Hydrogen template. They are base level templates designed to give people an idea of what can be done with the Gantry 5 framework. If you want more options then you need to get a paid template from the Rocket Theme or Inspire Theme.
One last thing to address the fact that you said in your original post:

The mobile menu does display, and it is visible by the hamburger icon, the 3 lines stacked on top of one another. Tapping that will show the mobile menu on the side. If you do not see the icon, then you need to update your styling to change the color of the icon because if you don't see it means it is the same color as the background which is why it will look like it isn't showing up.
