Gantry 5 not assigning to pages in Grav, if you use SLUG option

The title says it all, if you use slug option while going multilingual, and then assign the otherlanguage page to a page WITH SLUG - it does not assign anything and opens unassigned page. This issue is for any menu item that differs from homepage. Homepage DOES WORK.
