Modules in 1st Lvl menu moved to end of the menu upon upgrading to v5.5.7

I had existing modules added to the first level menu and upon upgrading they were automatically moved to the end of the menu. I had move them back to their correct position in the Gantry Menu editor. Upon doing that they have thus far stayed in their original position.

Joomla: v.3.10.4. Gantry framework upgraded from v.5.4.37 to v.5.5.7.

They should be put into the same place, but I can see some cases where they may have been moved, too. More testing is needed to pinpoint and easily replicate the issue.

To be able to fix the issue, I need the minimal test case using Helium if possible.

I confirm also that issue, when I updated from Gantry v5.4.36 to Gantry v5.5.7, the menu item positions and particles inside the menu - changed. the relative issue which I see are sub-menu dropdowns - https://github.com/gantry/gantry5/issues/2987
