Webgui doesn't work if using alternative gangadir

If the gangadir location is not the default, ~/gangadir, then the webgui authentication doesn't work. I suspect that the location of some authentication file is hard wired, rather than looking at the value of the [configuration]gangadir location to build a PATH.
