OpenMTP won't connect to phone after using Samsung Smart Switch...

I backed up my phone using Samsung Smart Switch before my new phone arrived. OpenMTP was working fine prior to this. I have tried everything I can think of, but nothing is working. Smart Switch can handle file transfers, but it is VERY slow. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, your input will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I did the reset cache trick in the repair menu (at startup) on the phone, but it did not fix the problem.

Just to add an update, I recently got the S24 Ultra. My desktop computer won't link to that one either. Are there some cache or application support files that need to be deleted (MacOS 12.6)?

you could just make a .txt file with all of that text and attach it instead of putting it all here without much need :)

None of that made a difference. It just makes no sense that my laptop will see it using the same software load as my desktop, yet the desktop won't connect to it.
