No see options which direct mount and sync

Dear,

After installed OpenMTP on Mac, I don't see any method to direct mount Android phone to Mac, also no sync folder.

So, is this app just use for copy data, right? If same with Android File Transfer from Google, I don't understand why we need to install OpenMTP to Mac.
