If you're using `vscode` you could try our latest [alpha version](https://github.com/wakatime/wakatime-cli/releases/tag/v1.39.0-alpha.1) by enabling `alpha = true` in `~/.wakatime.cfg`.

@tshu-w could you please enable `debug = true` in your `~/.wakatime.cfg`, clean-up your `~/.wakatime.log` file and do it again? Please send the log file to [email protected].
