Change output of gc command

Hey, here is my idea. when I run gc command I want to pipe deleted tasks into another file so I can make some sort of statistics later on about completed tasks. However for now the only output I have is Garbage collection complete.. And I wan to do something like

u ar gc >> completed_todos.json

Are you interested in this feature ? If so then I can contribute to implement it , otherwise I will do it in my fork only. Cheers
