I keep getting "Creating Hints...DoneError!"
Whenever I create ambiguous hints, i keep getting "DoneError!" when generating the randomizer, and I don't know why. This is in v3.1-2c0634 Nightly build. Please can you fix this. Thank you in advance.
Please attach the settings file that triggers this error.
After you try generating a seed, it should be located in the SD card at 3ds\presets\oot3dr\settings\CACHED_SETTINGS.xml
.
If you're on Citra, the virtual SD card is in sdmc
in the Citra folder.
Sorry for late response. It worked fine until the latest prerelease. The settings file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15hR7ovi-tyzy1cG_mfq2s_e9YCk0Pvop/view?usp=drivesdk
Had this error today on Nightly 3.1-866442
It also results in "No spoiler log generated!" for the in-game spoiler log page, although a spoiler log file with logic spheres is generated and can be found on the SD card.
Settings file: CACHED_SETTINGS.zip
This issue is due to running out of space when generating the in-game spoiler log. I don't know when it will be fixed, but you can avoid it by setting Ingame Spoilers to "Hide".
I'm not sure I understand this out-of-space issue correctly; is there a max number of spheres or lines or something which the in-game rando menu can handle/view?
I'm asking because my SD card has > 2 GB free space, so I assume that either the "out of space issue" is of a different nature than one of SD card free space, or what's going on is something else entirely.
Thank you for your patience.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, there is no issue with your equipment, this is a bug in the randomizer that hasn't yet been fixed. As you said, it is related to the number of spheres in the playthrough. If you shuffle a lot of things the generation of the Playthrough page for the in-game menu will fail. And setting Ingame Spoilers to "Hide" disables that page entirely.
I assumed something like that was the case. Thank you so much for clarifying and elaborating.
