Aspect Library - Internship Idea
This has reference to #1976
It is felt among my colleagues that having an aspect library for GAMA can be very interesting and attractive to new comers (or those in transition from other ABMs). Most social scientists and enthusiasts give weight to ease of display of their agents.
Currently GAMA supports regular geometries of circles, squares, rectangles, triangles etc. The idea is to enhance GAMA with a feature may be called aspect library that drops down as a menu similar to the existing Color drop down menu.
Some examples for the library are humans(male female), cars, buses, trees, electric poles, buildings, aeroplanes, etc. Something to this effect. https://github.com/Esri/solutions-symbology-data
It would be nicer to able to control the size and colour of these symbols as a next step, preferably with the size and colour and heading facets that already exist in aspects draw statement.
Now tracked in #2728
Reopening this issue for the next round of development on GAMA 2.0
Depends on #1164
