Embedded audio files are not displayed / accessible

I have some notes with embedded audio files. When such notes are loaded by evernote random it takes noticeably longer for them to load (I assume the audio files are fetched), but the audio files themselves are not displayed or accessible.

I don't know whether it is feasible to have them accessible, but maybe it is possible to skip loading the audio file and display a place holder instead so that the load time is reduced?
