Porting into Minetest
can you tune model into minetest? use worldedit?
It's an interesting application. The algorithm is perfectly writable in Lua, and could be used to generate rivers in Minetest. I'll think about it. This script is a bit outdated, it was one of my first Python scripts, badly written. You can find a better version here: geo-mapgen/rivers.py
port openstreet map into mt is also nice pm:have you see the sofar/spheretest can your things run on it?:)
Spheretest's maps doesn't have the same topology than real world. It behaves like a torus, with no distinctive pole, this makes impossible to properly project a real-world map on it.
Using OpenStreetMap data would be nice, but it's hard to get them in big quantity.
hi ok make a minetest that use earth technology seems troubleing and not easy to troubleshoot SORRY i havent read the spheretest's notice before i asking this noob question and just make a square building donot try it to be nice as HOMETOWN server does if we make openstreetmap idea come true ,you can port river why not that pm: lets chat by email:)
