[v2] Please help us test the v2 base
v0 is the frozen stable release. v2 is what we're working on now. Originally, we planned to release v2 much later this year, in a single release with all the new features. However, instead we'd now like to make an early v2 release with all the new "core" features (much faster loader, official offline support, etc), get that stable (as v2.0.0), and then gradually introduce new features as release candidates (e.g. v2.1.0-rc.1) and slowly merge into the stable release.

At the bottom their is a summary of the initial differences from v0 and instructions on how to upgrade an existing installation. In your dev environment only of course, NO NOT USE IN PRODUCTION until an official stable release.
