I am experiencing the same issue. Instantly loads if you switch to something like settings and back but not if you open the dashboard directly.

Same issue here, probably needs some fancy way to wait for lovelace to have loaded so the dom is ready. Kiosk mode has been refactoring (kinda) last weeks to get it stable.

Seems like there should be some common way to do this so not every custom card / frontend thingy needs to reinvent the wheel?
