Hi, In SonarQube you have to group with the same name as the Gitlab group. Thanks

So I have to create groups in sonar with the same name as group in gitlab and then the user will associate it self?

yes

Hm... I just create a new group named "test" with visibility open and the group permission is owner in gitlab and in sonarqube create new group named "test" to but the user still didn't associate it self.

I'm using the latest version of this plugin, and using sonarqube verison 6.3.1.21392

Might it be that a user is only associated to a group on the very first login, while the user is initially added in sonarqube?

What would be good for our use case (and what does not seem to work so far):

  • Automatically create groups in SonarQube during login of a user, based on the groups a user belongs to in GitLab
  • Add/remove a user for those automatically created groups during each login of the user

Does anyone know a workaround to this issues ?
