Place rotation icon in the navigation bar

I would like the option to place the icon in the navigation bar. It often obscures buttons that I would like to tap, but I have to shift my phone's orientation to make the icon go away (or wait).

The navigation bar is always in a predictable place, so there's no danger of not knowing where to find the rotate icon. Android O will allow adding icons to the navigation bar, if drawing over the navigation bar is currently not possible.

This could be possible with Custom Navigation Bar if TapAndTurn had a shortcut to interact with in the first place.
