Rotation change for current app only
Usually I want another screen rotation for one app/situation only (e.g. YouTube or Firefox in landscape). But by switching back to the launcher or another app, it would be great to have the default orientation.
so you suggest, that if the rotation is changed from the default orientation, this selection is only valid until the currently open app changes?
Will Tap'n'Turm remember this selection, when you re-open the app? then it would be more like #8 with an app list and remembered orientations, right?
The other option would be easier... Can you/Do you want to work on a PR to contribute what you have in mind?
I mean the first alternative (the easier one). The setting should be valid for the current app only. By closing this app the screen orientation should change to the default setting. I can work on a PR for it. How to start?
oh damn, sorry, I missed your reply :/ .. well If you're still interested, you could try to find a way on how to distinguish, which app is currently openend... Because thats the central part of the problem...
This needs an actual Accessibility service I guess.
Careful that enabling/disabling such a service DEactivates "ask security pin/password on boot" ! (Know bug in Android)

IIRC, that bug # was closed (without a fix BTW), and another one was opened, I can't actually show you the new one since you (now) apparently need a Google account to be able to access the Android bug tracker for some reason.
