Unable to log into Dissenter extension on Brave Using Gab Log in. Keep getting the same message white is attached. 2019-07-05 - Message after trying to log in

+1 was able to reproduce, this is a backend issue as well nothing we can do about it at the moment

Do we know what is causing it?

Probably the backend is only allowing browsers that pass certain headers to complete authentication. Brave/others are probably detected as unsupported browsers. My guess is if you tried to do the same with Chromium you would get the same error. Have to have a dev go in and whitelist those headers being passed (just a hunch but I think it's right)

This is happening on all browsers on Windows and Linux (and presumably macOS). nothing we an do except wait

This happens in dissenter browser in windows, as well as a standard Firefox browser installation in linux.

I get Security verification failed. Are you blocking cookies? even with Shields down and Site Bleacher set to whitelist. 🤔

Edit: Temporarily deactivating Privacy Possum fixed it.
