The website/api should show aggregate statistics on unique tags used on each unique domain.

I think a nice future feature would be to show aggregate stats on hashtags*, being able to add a something like #commend or #dissent to an article and have those things tally'd in a list would be great. This would allow a ermergent concensus on various voting tags for some articles.

Allowing the end user to select one or more tags and show stats for those, would help weed out the cruft that may accumulate in there. I could easily imagine various superflous tags showing up, so being able to just select a few from the top list would be a nice piece of functionality.

Maybe instead of hashtags, perhaps a new tagging mechanism could be used?
