Update 4.4.0.58
Hi! Just a quick question/heads-up: The Sailfish update to 4.4.0.58 (OTA-Update), asks me to remove droid-devicetree-f5321 (as well as harbour-storeman, rpm-divert and yabit). I'm guessing that might not be the best idea? Anybody tried the update yet?
I do have one of those as well, but my daily driver is a 10ii since a few months. On the 10ii i had to remove harbour-storeman
as well. But i did not yet dare to update my old F5321 since it does not like all the f5321 packages and rpm-divert, and i bet that removing some of those might pose a certain risk.
You can try if the scripts from this repo can patch the 4.4 installer, if so things might work ... and you can install the update from a devel-su
shell, which might not force you to remove "unknown" packages and give it a try after all.
I think i might be able/willing to try it for you. Since my F5321 is really just the backup device and even if things do not work out, i can always go back. But let us wait a bit for others, i still would not want to loose the state on that backup device.
