FAB does not work when the device display is rotated

I don't know if only I have experienced this or maybe you guys have also experienced it. When I rotate the view from landscape -> portrait or vice versa, the FAB becomes non-functional, but if the display is rotated to the original display as if it was the first time running an application, FAB returns to function.
