Is this project still alive?
This project seems to be not correctly working on modern android versions. The last commit is by seven years ago. Is this project still alive? Do you need help? @fyhertz
If you can make this work on todays phones then go for it. Always nice to have working code here. I my self is not using this code now but I may in the future if things dont work out with what I have now ....
Have you found another opensource IP streaming camera? I'm going through the forks of this one to see if I can find anyone who's updated it.

I managed to decompile it and it now compile in Android Studio and can be used in some android phones. (I am not sure this is all that legal :) ...... ) https://github.com/jlivingstonsg/RoboCam There are some bugs but it work. I am trying to set it up on Gitpod, but for now you can play with it on Android Studio. If you have any issues or questions please get back to me so I can understand what bugs are left.

No, it is not illegal for copyright reason (the license does not permit it), nor the reversed app is Free(libre) Software.
