This issue shouldn't be closed. There is a solution proposed, but it's just not finished. If anyone wants to help, they're welcome
Currently both options still exist. It's not such a maintenance burden to keep them around, but a 2.0 release might remove them

Yeah, it's solved by just defining some kind of order. The last defined value will be used.
