Describe the bug Please check out the Q&A page first! the bug is when i add the camera and want to view it live stream i get the EOF error

To Reproduce add camera in intergrations .. add picture card entity... doesnt work.. check log settings get error

And the link doesn't work with VLC either
Works fine with sub channel
it also giveas another error.. and locks up Home assistant that makes home assistant usless till ya reboot.. you remove the camera.. no issues.. for now looking at other ways to stream this camera.. as you cant do anything.. it doesnt seem to do this issue with the dome camera.. just the this bullet style camera.. guess it has something else in it that needs extra work.. looking at webrtc see if i can get a work around for now
I just had exactly the same problem but got it fixed! It was actually really easy because RTMP just wasn't enabled.
On my camera I had to access it via the web page in the browser and navigate to: Settings -> Network Settings -> Advanced -> Port Settings -> Enable RTMP
Now it is working
@Xitee1 i tried what you have doesnt work for me.. no enable rtmp just the port 1935...
the camera will work in HA then it wont work.. you just get a blank view.. and i get the error... very frustrating.. no issues with the dom cam RLC-520A it has no problems just the darn 812 model.. not sure how to get it to work right
it works ok in the reolink app.. blue iris demo and it works on off in HA .. so very frustrating
what camera are you using?
even the ovnif way setup in Ha is glitchy with this camera.. it will display but if u wanna blow up teh screen then it flickering with some error i cant read fast enough lol
I have the RLC-510A. Yes, I have got just a black stream but I also got the error. Now the error is gone and the stream is working after enabling RTMP in the settings.
ah ya doesnt work for me.. and mine is 520 dom and it works fine and it doesnt have a enable RTMP maybe the they changed it after the 510..
go figure if they do lol... but ya 520 works 812 is glitchy with the error and flashes error.... and some other text really fast when you double click the card so too fast to read the error..
and the error is coming using the OVNIF as it was only way to get a small card to view.. but when you blow it up then she wont and gives error
i did try update firmware but i up to date... always something lol
