different backend

Would be possible to use a different backend? I hate to pronounce the name of the beast, but I'm wondering if a fb connect would spread better the concept. On the other hand someone else would like to play with pump.io as backend for kind of private community on a single book, writers-editor community...

BTW just wondering why epubjs-reader/reader/scripts/ d22d8b90.scripts.js is minified.

Not sure I understand the backend question. The reader is just static html, you can use any server you like thought it helps to have url re-writing.

Also the minification in /reader is a work in progress - for now check out the code in /src
