Can't see annotation adder on topmost sentence on a page

When annotating the top sentence, the majority of the annotation "adder" (i.e. the pen that you click on after selection) is hidden behind a layer. Only the smallest tip of the pen bubble is visible.

Seeing this issue on the annotator demo as well.

It looks like the comment box adjusts to the screen positions but not the annotation adder. I'll try to take a closer look at this early next week.
