Column shift when selecting some text

When I select some text and I select it to far to the right of the screen or too far to the bottom of the screen it, shift the column or teleport me to another page.

Here the first screenshot shows what I mean by the column shifting. This happens right after selecting some text to far to the right of the screen or too far to the bottom of the screen.

The second screenshots shows how it should look normally.

I would also want to be able to highlight trough pages. Let's say I'm selecting some text and I'm at the last word of the page, I'm turning the page, I would like it to keep the selection going and select the first word of the next page or first character.

Which browser engine is this? Looks like a browser bug to me.

For me, this happens on Android Webview. So this would be chromium engine

I'm facing the same problem when trying the select text in android. It works nicely in iOS. :(
