Agent and Computer disappears

I'm having a strange behavior yesterday.

I install the agent on some computers, I run an inventory and it is imported to GLPI.

In FusionInventory plugin tab, under agent management, the entry for that agent appears. In Assets -> computers the computer is listed and the monitor under the monitors also appears.

After some minutes the agent and the computer disappears from the database and the monitor changes from entity, changes the contact to another existent in the database and appears unconnected to any computer.

This ony happens to some new white line computers with Motherboard MSI H81 (https://www.msi.com/product/motherboard/H81I.html#hero-overview) With Windows 10 Enterprise 64Bits.

I'm using GLPI 0.90.1, fusioninventory for glpi 0.90.1+1, and fusioninventory agent 2.3.17 on server with CentOS 5.11 64bits, with Apache 2.2.3 and MySQL 5.5.47.

You run on administrator account?

You have many computers with same motherboard?

The agent is installed with the logon script with administrative privileges or manually with the local administrator account. This is happening with only three specific computers with identical motherboards.

Can you add in registry (HKLM\Softwares\FusionInventory-agent): 'local' 'c:\tmp'

After restart the service FusionInventory and on first inventory you will have a file in c:\tmp\

Do this with 2 or the 3 computers and paste the file here

Hi, I have had the same issue for weeks and I just found the source. As it happens, it didn't come from Fusioninventory Agent but from the rules of the FusionInventory Plugin.

The computers disappearing always had one of them in Assets. But never at the same time. It came from the fact that they had the same Serial according to fusioninventory (the computers are identical).

I disabled the rule named Computer import (by serial) and the one named Computer update (by serial) and now everything seems to be working fine.

Same happened with me but detected that there are some computer detected with "Default string" in Serial Number. Solution by Mercusio fixed it
