As part of the final release for v1.11.1

@fusion44 its just depencdencies so updating is not critical for v1.11.1 release .. but can you see why the pre-commit test is not running thru?

Ignore pre commit for now. I'm currently pondering of removing it. It doesn't play nice with Nix, at least not without jumping through lots of hoops.
