Repository not in sync with Releases page?
Hello there!
I just saw that the Debian repository lists patchman-client_4.0.0-1_all.deb but v4.0.0 is not listed on the release page, the Ubuntu repository lists patchman-client_3.0.17-1_all.deb as last version, but v3.0.19 is listed as latest release on the release page.
This is a bit confusing. Is it safe to install and run patchman-client_4.0.0-1_all.deb against the v3.0.19 release? Same question goes for Ubuntu.
Cheers Timo
v4 is not released yet. It is currently only available in the backports section of the repo for testing purposes with an associated PR here: https://github.com/furlongm/patchman/pull/675/files
Feel free to test it and give any feedback. It should probably be tagged as a release candidate but I was trying to ensure the updated installation instructions were up to date too.
I released 3.0.19 into the repos.
There is only one commit that affects users: https://github.com/furlongm/patchman/commit/fdeea13da8d147f72f3f005ce84f199ae62ac676)
I removed the 4.0.0 release candidate for now.
