Updates to the main code (v1.0.0)

With the numerous updates and pull requests which have never been incorporated into the main code (and may conflict), I have tried to pull some of these together and created a new fork - https://github.com/RWAP/jquery-ui-touch-punch

If you have suggestions for improvements - please comment if you have tested the RWAP version so that it can be tested and incorporated in the v1.0.0 code.
