install cursors in windows 11 without using install.inf

Open s7xxrs opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

I have had some problems when installing, the cursors are not in order and I have to modify them manually so this time I come to ask exactly how to install them in the same way that install.inf does but manually, what steps do I need to follow?

thanks in advance!

Manage the mouse pointer schemes at the "Pointers" tab of the "Mouse Properties" control panel dialog. Find the latter via:

  • Windows 10: Settings > Devices > Mouse > Additional mouse options (Related settings)
  • Windows 11: Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mouse > Additional mouse settings (Related settings)

In both cases, you may also find it via:

  • Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Mouse (Devices and Printers)

Both the "Settings" and "Control Panel" windows have a search field you may type "mouse" in to find it quickly. You could type "mouse settings" in the Windows Search (Win+S) to the same effect.
