Maybe for hyprland it works, but even then it's referenced both inside the argset and outside, which means we still have to change it in multiple places. For the rest...

It does work, that's why I suggested using UWSM, since it does away with the requirement for `dbus-update-...`.
You still have `dbus-update-...` in your config https://github.com/hmanhng/.flakes/blob/master/system/programs/hyprland/settings.nix#L24. What happens if you remove it?
This is specifically a NixOS config. You can, however, install the Home Manager part on Arch after installing Nix. If you want anything more specific, please ask.
