Unable to configure 'video analyze duration' with whole integers

Open ahaverty opened this issue 2 years ago • 7 comments

Describe the bug

Unable to configure 'video analyze duration' with whole integers.

image

To reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open configuration
  2. Input a whole integer for video analyze duration (e.g 2 or 3 etc)

Expected behavior

From what I remember, I could have "2" as the value in previous non-alpha versions.

Workaround Changing to a float works, e.g 2.1

I'm just raising this issue as from what I remember, the alpha version defaulted to "2", and I got caught on this when trying to configure.

Eufy v5.3.3

Just tested against v6.0.0, and still see the same issue

Does 2.0 works?

No, after typing the zero, the input sets the value back to just "2"

Thanks for raising, i was aware of this issue but thought no one would change it.

0 would not work on ffmpeg side (it would cause error for first couple of seconds).

I wil fix this but tell me why you want to make it zero?

@fuatakgun I'm fine with using the workaround with 2.1 or whatever. Just wanted to raise, as it seems like the v5 beta defaulted me to "2", and perhaps by raising the issue I can solve yourself/new users some headache figuring out the input. 👍

this does not work for me, I still get User input malformed: expected bool for dictionary value @ data['generate_ffmpeg_logs']

I unticked ffmpeg logs and it then configured. Went back into configure, reticked it and all saved ok. Now all of my cameras information says unavailable.
