Start Listening was not completed in timely manner.
Under Integrations in home assistant, I am getting the error : Retrying setup: Start Listening was not completed in timely manner.
It seems to refresh and try again over and over and keeps coming back to this same error.

If I check the logs of the Eufy Security Add-on it shows the following:

I have created a new account and shared this with this new account, and logged in with the new account on the app to accept the shared device. I have restarted HA multiple times, nothing seems to work.
I am seeing this behavior as well. I am also getting the errors below in my logs - about an unknown device type 18:

JoryHogeveen mentions changing his password to not include a "$". I have attempted to change my password to not include a character, however not sure if something has changed but Eufy enforces you to have a special character in the password. Therefor this fix is not working for me. I have a "!" in my password, attempted to switch to different character but no success.
I changed my special character to a _ and I made it further in the process but it still hangs and has errors. I have Homebase 3 and new cams it's throwing errors about device IDs I've literally not been able to do the ONLY THING I want to do with HA because of these errors/issues

New version changed what exactly? Don't see any changes just version number...

Still having issues with the new Eufycam 3s and also the entry and motion sensors are taking 10+ minutes to update
Update initially signed me in, looks like my bridge connected but not my Doorbell camera. Now its going back to the same message "Retrying setup: Start Listening was not completed in timely manner".

I can confirm that the issue re-appeared and making the change provided above fixed my issue.
This is how I got it working, this solution was found on github,
Go into the Eufy Security Add-ons Go to configuration Edit it in YAML Add the following line TRUSTED_DEVICE_NAME: DEVICENAME
Save it and restart. Please let me know if it works!

TRUSTED_DEVICE_NAME: was there but blank, so I added DEVICENAME
