Feature Request: Run Desktop App in client mode

Would be nice if we can run the windows app in client mode. I'd like to be able to use a laptop or tablet pc to send barcodes to the server.

Hello, do you need to input the barcodes from a camera connected to the computer?

Either from a webcam or via manual input so I could use a Bluetooth scanner.

Essentially the request is to be able to run the mobile app on a windows device

I already have something that allows to input barcodes from the keyboard, but is for testing purposes only.

To connect it to the server you have to manually type the server address in the "Select server" page:

It's basically a new version of the app packaged inside electron, and at the moment it's planned to be released for iOS and Android only
