Add SCfigure to PICTUREENV

Open fkbreitl opened this issue 9 years ago • 1 comments

When I use latexdiff on documents with SCfigures that have changed slightly, for example in size, they appear twice such that the caption has no space and messes up the formatting. For figures this does not happen.

To process SCfigures in the same correct way as figures they have to be added to the PICTUREENV. Therefore I would like to request to make this default.

I also describe this problem and its solution at

Sorry I did not get to look into this before. I hope that you still follow this thread. Adding SCfigure to PICTUREENV removes all markup within SCfigure, which does not seem desirable, e.g. in case of minor changes to the caption. Maybe better to add it to FLOATENV instead but as I do not use sidecaps package myself, it is hard for me to know. To make progress on this issue, could you send me an MWE (minimal working example) file pair demonstrating the effect you are describing.
